| The SUMMER-END FESTIVAL is an exciting two- day, free, family event with merchandise, arts and craft, business vendors, food vendors, a DJ, a children's area and lots of fun!. A fantastic way to start your holiday shopping early and find that special gift for your family member or friend! The Summer-End Festival is located in the prime business area of Torrance, at the Mervyn's North Parking Lot, off Hawthorne Boulevard and Sepulveda, right across the street from the Del Amo Mall. The fun starts Saturday morning at 9AM with the DJ playing smooth Jazz music at 10AM and food vendors filling the air with mouth-watering smells, as well as the sweet Caribbean Music from the sound of Steel Drums. The fun continues to 6PM and Sunday from 9AM to 6PM. The booths cover the entire lot and there is something for every one. Choose from the finest quality of Clothing, Leg Wear, Shoes, Purses, Hats, Jewelry, Arts & Crafts, Books, and more! Taste the best mouth-watering Food, beverages, Kettlecorn, Funnel cakes & scrumtous cupcakes, deep fried chicken wings, beverages, and more! Obtain information on businesses, new business ventures and health & wellness programs. And you don't want to miss the entertainment! There will be give-aways and a showcase of a local dance studio and an exhibition of the latest fad Flash Mob! The childrens area will have jumpers, face painting, balloon twisting and fun photos! Bring the whole family and start your holiday shopping early from the merchandise being offered, have some food, beverages and desserts, listen to the sound of smooth Jazz music and sweet caribbean music from the steel drums, at the SUMMER-END FESTIVAL from October 8th to Sunday, October the 9th.
